- Does the AI see my financial data?
- No. Wiggle Budget Smart answers questions about your budget without sending your entries, amounts, balances, or account names to any AI model. If you turn on optional AI interpretation, only the sentence you typed is used to work out what you are asking, and the answer is never sent back out.
- Can I use the assistant without AI?
- Yes. Most questions are answered entirely on your device with AI switched off, including dates and ranges, totals, category breakdowns, debts, spelling mistakes, and several questions asked at once. AI is optional and only helps it follow more unusual wording.
- Can the assistant change my budget on its own?
- No. The assistant can propose a change and show you exactly which rows it would affect and what it does to your plan, but nothing is written until you confirm it. You can tick individual rows on or off before confirming.
- What questions can I ask a budgeting assistant?
- You can ask what is safe to spend today, what expenses or payments you have on a date or range, where your money goes by category, how this month compares to last month, what your projected balance looks like, how much debt you have, and what-if questions such as whether you can afford a purchase.
- Do I need to connect my bank account?
- No. Wiggle Budget does not require a bank connection. You enter the cash you actually have and the income and bills you expect, and the app projects your balance forward from there.
- Can I connect Wiggle Budget to Claude or another AI assistant?
- Yes. Wiggle Budget supports connectors for MCP clients such as Claude Code and Claude Desktop. Connector tokens are read-only and revocable, and a connected assistant receives only a receipt confirming that an answer was shown to you, never your figures.
